Concept:

The Creative Side presents Convergence: Pivoting a Renaissance: Art, Technology, Business and Wellness as the theme for the 2025 Jersey City Art & Studio Tour (JCAST). With a focus on bringing Jersey City’s diverse arts community together to celebrate and showcase the arts and culture of this dynamic city.

Our proposal is focused on a robust city-wide series that features 60-120 venues (10-20 locations in the 6 wards) presenting art, performance, music, poetry and film) and including 45-60 art studios with 2 signature exhibitions — one at the kick-off space and the other a community exhibition at to showcase both the best, diverse and inclusive works of Jersey City Artists not just limited to fine art.

Convergence speaks to the diversity of Jersey City arts — one with various perspectives, styles, and representation within artistic expressions, encompassing cultural identities, backgrounds and experiences. It creates inclusive arts programming and showcases intercultural arts of Latino, Filipino, Indian, Chinese, Arab, African, African American, Caribbean and all communities that make up Jersey City.
